Sophie still pink after 10k
MRA Marketing Account Manager, Sophie-Jayne Edwards, took part in the fight against cancer in last month’s Race for Life, Bristol.
In aid of Cancer Research UK, the two-day event saw over 9,000 women gather on Clifton Down, in Bristol. In pink attire and trainers, they had one cause in mind: to raise cash for life-saving research and beat cancer.
“The atmosphere was incredible. So many people showed up and spirits were high,” explains Sophie. “Thankfully, the day of the race was cooler than the heatwave we had been experiencing the week before. It was a successful day for a brilliant cause, and pledging to take part alongside thousands of like-minded women was a great motivation.”
Sophie completed the 10 kilometre course in just 67 minutes, raising £300 for the charity. Well done Sophie!
