Love your customers this Valentine’s Day
With revenues in the billions (and that’s just the UK), Valentine’s Day is BIG business. If you think that all that smoochy stuff has nothing to do with your business, you could be right. But it could give you the perfect excuse to show your customers how much they mean to you.
You can never be too nice to your customers. No, really. They are you’re most important asset, after all. Understand that and you know it pays to show them a little love and attention now and again. And when better to do that than on Valentine’s Day?
With revenues in the billions (and that’s just the UK), Valentine’s Day is BIG business. But if you think that all that smoochy stuff has nothing to do with your business, then you could be right. However, look at it another way and this attention-grabbing love fest could give you the perfect excuse you’ve been looking for to show your customers how much they mean to you.
Leading composite door manufacturer, Door-Stop International is maximising the Valentine’s Day opportunity. The company is giving away these free ad templates, which installers can customise to get new business.
It seems there are plenty of others out there who see tactical opportunities like Valentine’s Day as a great way to increase customer engagement with their brand. For example, this Hovis ad from last year is simple but effective, while in 2011 Virgin Media couldn’t resist the temptation to woo its competitors’ customers.
But this ad from Durex in 2012 gets our vote for its inspired wit. If it makes you smile, it has to be good.
